Successful Open Evening for Cronton Sixth Form
On Tuesday the 11th of November, Cronton Sixth Form hosted one of their most successful open evenings yet, with over 1000 visitors coming to view the College.
Potential students attending the event had the opportunity to sample what Cronton has to offer and experience the newly refurbished facilities, which includes new social spaces, support areas and classrooms. Visitors also took part in interactive sessions and spoke with tutors and current students about the vast array of courses offered at the College.
Mary Murphy, College Principal said, “I am very proud of our latest open evening; it has been a great success with over 1000 people attending. The organisation was excellent and the evening ran very smoothly. Feedback from both parents and potential students has been very positive. I’d like to thank the staff and our wonderful student ambassadors who did a great job helping on the night.”
One parent, Helen Maddison, said, “From a parent’s point of view, I was very impressed with the staff last night. Adam, my son, said he felt the presentation was clear and informative. It’s such a difficult decision to make, but everyone we spoke to was very helpful. I also felt clearer about the options available to Adam.”
College staff are now looking forward to the next Open Evening which will be held on Thursday 6th February, 5pm – 8pm.
