The High Achievers Programme
The High Achievers Programme (HAP) at Cronton Sixth Form College provides outstanding support and training to prepare high-achieving students for entry to Oxford, Cambridge, and other prestigious universities and courses including Medical, Dentistry, and Veterinary as well as degree apprenticeships.
Cronton Sixth Form College has formed partnerships with universities and educational organisations, both nationally and internationally. The aim of these partnerships is to give our students the very best chance of gaining places at elite universities. Additionally, we aim to make sure that every student chooses the right university and the right degree, and has access to the maximum amount of financial support to which they are entitled.
HAP students (with 7 GCSE’s at Grade 7 and above) are identified at enrolment and early in their first year to ensure they get the best opportunities, advice and support during their time at college.
In 2023, our students received 974 offers from Russell Group universities including Oxbridge, and prestigious degrees including medicine and law, and sought-after-degree apprenticeships, and 91% of students on the HAP programme progressed to Oxbridge and Russell Group Universities.
