Health & Wellbeing Team
We have an experienced health and wellbeing team. Welfare is their priority, and they can support you with any personal difficulties or obstacles you may encounter during your time at college. The officers based at each site are:
- Cronton College – Helen Maddison and Jayne Barker
- Riverside College & CRMZ – Anna Hopwood, Joanne Brant and Mandy Davies
The team can offer a variety of support and once enrolled at college they can work with you to create a wellbeing plan.
Financial Support
At Cronton Sixth Form, students can access financial assistance to support them during their studies. This can include:
- Free Bus Travel
- Free Breakfast Snacks
- Free College Meals
- Bursary: Weekly financial Support paid directly to the student

Operation Encompass
Operation Encompass is a police and education early information safeguarding partnership enabling schools and colleges to offer immediate support to children experiencing domestic abuse.
Cronton College will receive information from the police if there has been an incident of domestic abuse within the family home or an incident involving an adult who has parental responsibility for the child.
