International College Experience
Students at Cronton Sixth Form enjoy a number of exciting international trips throughout their college journey to allow them to travel, take in different cultures, grow on a personal level and make lifelong friendships.
This year, students have enjoyed some incredible trips and visits so far, including Italy, CERN (Switzerland), France (skiing) and Berlin and are looking forward to visiting Amsterdam and Portugal.
Our Centre of Excellence for Performing Arts students enjoyed a wonderful trip to Florence! They watched an outstanding performance of ‘Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf’ in opera boxes at the historic Teatro Della Pergola opera house and also went backstage prior to the play! While visiting, they took in the Escher Exhibition, the Uffizi Gallery, the Duomo Cathedral and crossed into San Frediano via the Ponte Vecchio for ice cream. Before returning to Pisa, students visited the Leonardo da Vinci Interactive Museum and enjoyed a beautiful group meal.
Our students had a fantastic skiing trip at Alpe d’Huez, France.
Our A Level Physics and Engineering students had a great time taking in the beautiful sights of Switzerland whilst visiting CERN, the largest particle physics laboratory in the world!
A Level and Vocational Business students at Cronton had an incredible time in the capital of Germany. They visited the famous Berlin wall and Ritter Sport to learn about the production of chocolate. They also enjoyed the fantastic BMW Motorcycle Tour.
