Physics Students visit University of Manchester
A Level Physics students from Cronton Sixth Form College attended a ‘One Day School in Physics’ at The University of Manchester last week.
The One Day School in Physics is an annual event, famous for the quality of the science presentations made to the students, who all enjoyed lectures on the search for alien planets, the Higgs boson, lasers, and the life and death of the universe.
Physics student, Beth Blakemore, formerly of Wade Deacon said, “I really enjoyed the lectures, particularly those that related to exo-planets and lasers, which is a topic that we are currently studying in lessons.”
