An Unforgettable Trip to the Big Apple
Humanities students at Cronton Sixth Form had the incredible experience of travelling to New York City for a once in a lifetime trip to the ‘city that doesn’t sleep’.
For many of the students this was their first time visiting America which was extremely exciting for them.
Over a whirlwind four days the group visited iconic landmarks including; Madison Square Garden, Times Square, Grand Central Station, The Empire State Building, The National September 11 Memorial & Museum, Ellis Island, The Statue of Liberty, Wall Street, Trump Tower, The Charging Bull, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, The American Museum of Natural History, The Rink At Rockefeller Center, Madame Tussauds, The Flatiron Building, The New York Public Library, and Central Park!
Dan Adams, Head of Humanities at Cronton Sixth Form, said “This was a truly unforgettable trip; we managed to visit so many iconic places over the four days which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Our students had a fantastic time in New York and we are excited to take the next group in 2018.”
