Dancers Unify for Latest Stage Production

Following on from their incredible performance of Coven, talented dancers training on the Professional Dance Programme at Cronton Sixth Form College impressed a packed audience at the Brindley Theatre in Runcorn with their latest stage production, Unity.

Held on the 20th January, the show starred Laura Malam, 18 and from Runcorn, as the Mother, and Megan Reed, 17 and from Liverpool, as the Daughter.

Benjamin Musa, Artistic Director and Course Leader for The Professional Dance Programme, said, “After months of tireless rehearsals, Unity was a sell out. We couldn’t be happier with the end product. After our previous production (Coven) we were unsure if we could produce something at the same standard. But after the show it seems that we actually surpassed it which is always amazing.

“The feedback has been phenomenal. We tried to take a different approach this time and take a few risks, which we feel really paid off. The dancers have been unbelievably committed and have enjoyed rehearsals tremendously.”
