We are the nation’s no.1 Further Education College for BTEC Diploma’s and 2nd nationally for A levels
The Department for Education academic performance tables, published on the 21st January 2016 have ranked the College as the top further education college in the country for vocational achievement, and 2nd nationally for A level achievement.
The tables show, out of all of the 183 further education colleges in the country, the College is:
- No.2 nationally for A level points score per entry (The average score per examination entered)
- No.4 in the country for A level points score per student (The average score per student)
- Cronton also ranks at the top in Merseyside and Cheshire for the percentage of A level students gaining 3 or more A levels at 98%
