Why study this course at Cronton Sixth Form?
This course is relevant to so many students because whatever you do, you will eventually work for a business or organisation, even if it is your own. You will study the key areas of the business world across two years, which include: Economics, Accounting, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Law and Human Resource Management.
What will I study?
This two-year T Level is equivalent to three A Levels and has been designed with employers to prepare you for a career in business management and administration. The course is made up of classroom learning and a substantial industry placement with an employer.
You will learn how organisations work and the key skills needed to help them run effectively, covering a wide range of topics such as business operations, finance, managing projects and change, quality and compliance, and working with people. You will then develop specialist skills in an area of management and administration, building your confidence in skills such as communication, organisation, teamwork and problem-solving.
Your industry placement will give you real experience of working in a business environment and the chance to put your learning into practice.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed in a variety of ways, including externally set exams, an employer-set project where you respond to a simulated brief, and practical assessments that reflect the tasks you would carry out in the workplace. You must also successfully complete your industry placement. You will receive an overall T Level grade, which carries UCAS points equivalent to three A Levels.
