Vocational students also achieved outstanding results across a range of sector-focused qualifications. Level 3 BTEC programmes achieved a 99% pass rate, with 79% of students securing Distinction* / Distinction grades. Students studying Level 3 UAL and T Levels celebrated a 100% pass rate, with 95% of T Level students achieving high grades.
Students enrolled on the College’s prestigious High Achievers Pathway celebrated outstanding results with 100% A*- C grades, 95% achieving A*- B and a staggering 68% celebrating A* and A grades, further cementing the programme’s reputation for supporting ambitious students aiming for the top universities and institutions worldwide.
These outstanding results have enabled many of our students to secure places at their first-choice universities, including Cambridge, Durham, Leeds, Manchester, Bristol, York and Nottingham. In addition, students have successfully gained prestigious degree apprenticeships with leading organisations such as Lamborghini, Airbus, Alfred H Knight, Balfour Beatty and Mott MacDonald.
This year, students have also secured opportunities to continue their education overseas, including places at leading universities in the USA, Spain, France and Italy. These achievements reflect the global ambition, talent and determination of our students.
Many achieved these destinations while participating in the college’s wider enrichment programme, the Cronton Experience, which provides opportunities to develop leadership skills, gain industry experience and enhance university applications through specialist initiatives.
Mary Murphy OBE, College Principal, said, “Today is a day of immense pride for our entire college community and Halton. Our students have achieved outstanding results that reflect their hard work, determination and ambition.”
“The record-breaking A Level outcomes, exceptional vocational achievements and progression to prestigious universities across the UK and internationally are a testament to the commitment of both our students and staff.”
“We congratulate every student on their success and look forward to seeing them continue to achieve great things as they embark on the next stage of their journey.”
