Exciting Arts Adventure at the Royal Opera House!
On 19th December, the Set Club from the Centre of Excellence for Performing Arts embarked on an incredible journey to the Royal Opera House and Covent Garden as part of their continued commitment to the Arts Award and the three extra-curricular productions throughout the year.
Our talented students enjoyed the enchanting opera, “Hansel and Gretel,” a mesmerizing performance that brought the stage to life!
Following the show, they had the privilege to meet with the backstage team for an exclusive Q&A session, gaining insights into the intricate world behind the scenes.
Director for the Centre of Excellence, Matt Plant, said: “It was wonderful to be able to share in this experience at the Royal Opera House. It truly signifies the direction that we are going in at the moment as we continue to develop and grow with even bigger productions as the years go on. We are so grateful to our Set Club – a staple of everything we do, who take on an enormous amount of responsibility throughout the year, and this was our way of saying thank you!”
