Cronton Students Explore Law
Law students at Cronton Sixth Form had the exciting opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skill in the subject, attending an ‘Explore Law’ conference and workshop at The University of Law in Chester.
The workshop was designed to teach the students the basic elements of contract law and how to apply this knowledge in the field. During the event, students were able to ask a variety of questions to a panel of guest speakers and discuss topics including what it is like to study law at University, the different careers and routes available in the legal sector and the highs and lows of working as solicitor or barrister.
Jan Houghton, Law Teacher at Cronton, said “It was a most informative event which helped to raise the student’s awareness by giving them an insight which will help them to choose the direction they want to take their law career in.”
