Cronton Sixth Form College is one of the top ten colleges in the country!
The Department for Education have published the 2012 performance tables and they show Cronton Sixth Form College is 4th nationally, and the number 1 college in the area on their quality measure!

These tables show:
Cronton Sixth Form College has been ranked amongst the best performing college’s in England for 16-18 year old achievement.
The College has been placed fourth out of over 300 colleges in England on the Department for Education’s quality measure, points score per exam entry.
Cronton Sixth Form College achieved the one of the highest average point score per exam entry of all 333 colleges nationally.
The college also scored higher than any College in the area cementing its position as one of the region’s and nation’s top education providers.

This data is taken from the DFE School and College Performance Tables, January 2012. Points score per exam entry is the DFE ‘quality measure’ it looks at the average points per exam students achieve.
Cronton Sixth Form  College has also been graded outstanding for its advanced level course added value by ALPs (The Advanced Level Performance system) which placed the college as top in the country for Physics, Economics, English and Sport.
