The three day event, which was open to the general public in the evening, also inspired the next generation of artists during the day with trips to the exhibition by St Bede’s Primary School and St Edmond Arrowsmith Catholic Centre for Learning. All of the school pupils were amazed and truly inspired by the artwork on display.
Maxine Mealey , Head of Cronton School of Art said, “We are now in our third year of hosting our Art, 3D, Photography, Graphics and Textiles ‘Inspired’ Exhibition and live fashion show at St Pauls Church and we continue to be amazed by the standard of the students work which is testament to their work ethic, passion and commitment.
Both A Level and Vocational pieces from a range of art subjects were exhibited within this beautiful, grand setting and this year we have had over 620 visitors and received wonderful feedback from universities, galleries, employers, partners, parents and the local community. We are genuinely thrilled and very proud!”
