By coming back to Cronton during his degree, Daniel gained some teaching experience by working alongside the Art tutors.
Daniel said, “I have always wanted to work in art and travel so this new job is a fantastic opportunity for me. I am nervous but really excited to be able to share my knowledge of art in a practical way whilst experiencing a different culture.
“My dream job would be to own my own gallery, I have already organised my own exhibitions at the Harris Museum and Art Gallery, Oxheys Mill Studio and the Hannover Gallery and I am looking forward to gaining more experience in China.
“The time I spent at Cronton School of Art has definitely helped me to succeed; the tutors help you to focus, set goals and achieve them. It was great coming back in to teach there. The students are all really talented and passionate. I would recommend to anyone to come and study art at Cronton Sixth Form as it is one of the best Colleges in the country for art.”
Adele Childs, Textiles tutor at Cronton Sixth form said, “Daniel is extremely talented, I have never had any doubts that he would succeed and I wish him well in his new job. This year lots of our art students are staying with us at Cronton to complete the foundation course before moving onto university.”
