Outstanding Destination Offers for Cronton Sixth Form Students
Cronton Sixth Form is celebrating another exceptional year of student achievement as learners have begun receiving life‑changing offers from some of the world’s most prestigious universities, international institutions in the United States and Spain, and highly competitive degree apprenticeship programmes. These early successes reflect the dedication, ambition and academic excellence demonstrated by students across the college.
Early outcomes are already impressive. Several students have secured offers from the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge to study subjects including Biochemistry, History, Law and Mathematics, highlighting Cronton’s established track record of supporting high‑achieving learners into elite university pathways.
Strong results continue across medicine and veterinary science. Students applying for medicine have received offers from leading Russell Group universities including the University of Manchester, University of Leeds, University of Hull and the University of York. Veterinary science applicants have also been successful, with offers from the University of Liverpool and Harper Adams University.
International progression remains an area of significant growth. Two students have learned that their next academic chapter will take place in the United States, including one who has received an offer from the prestigious Georgia Institute of Technology following success in the Sutton Trust USA Programme. Another student has also secured an exciting opportunity to study medicine in Spain.

A notable achievement this year comes from student Imogen Wharton, who has accepted a sports scholarship to Wingate University in North Carolina. A talented runner, Imogen will combine her athletic career with her academic studies as she begins her university journey in the United States.
Commenting on her destination, Imogen said, “I am extremely excited to start my journey in America with lots of new opportunities, I can’t wait!”
Students are also performing strongly in competitive degree apprenticeship pathways. Several have already received offers following rigorous interview processes, with many more progressing to final‑stage interviews with major national employers.
These outstanding early outcomes highlight the academic strength, resilience and ambition of Cronton students. As further offers continue to arrive, the college remains committed to supporting every learner to achieve their full potential and to pursue ambitious next steps, both in the UK and internationally.
