
From Cronton to the USA: Celebrating Student Success!
We are thrilled to announce that three outstanding students from Cronton Sixth Form College, all former pupils of Wade Deacon High School, are set to embark on an exciting new chapter as they head to the United States to begin their university journeys.
All three students have been awarded prestigious scholarships in recognition of their exceptional academic achievements, talent, and dedication. This opportunity will enable them to pursue their degrees at top U.S. institutions, opening doors to world-class education and life-changing opportunities.

- Abi Redman – Abi will be heading to New York to attend Division 1 John’s University on a full scholarship to play tennis and complete her degree.
- Erin Barthe – After completing the prestigious Sutton Trust USA Programme during her time at Cronton, Erin secured a scholarship to study at Smith College in Massachusetts.
- Jessica McLean – Following her A Levels at Cronton, Jessica has achieved a full scholarship to study a Psychology Degree and play Tennis at Division 1 Fresno Pacific University, California.
Their achievements are a testament to their hard work, resilience, and the strong foundation built during their time with us. We couldn’t be prouder and can’t wait to see the incredible impact they’ll make on the world stage.
