Yorkshire Dales Expedition

A level Physical Education and Level 3 Uniformed Services students have successfully completed a three day expedition in the Yorkshire Dales.

The adventurous students had to demonstrate advanced navigation skills with a map and compass, camp craft skills, mountain leadership techniques and organisational skills as well as teamwork to complete the expedition.
Freezing conditions overnight led to students having to scrape ice from their tents in the mornings, but they all remained resilient and cheerful throughout their adventure.
