Sports student to test herself on a World Challenge expedition

A sports student at Cronton Sixth Form is set to test herself again on a World Challenge expedition when she travels to Cambodia for a month in July.

Sports HND student Tara Jones, previously from Penketh High School is aiming to raise £3,800 to travel to Cambodia where she will join a team of people to help complete a community project.
Tara has previously completed the challenge before in 2013 when she travelled to Equator on the popular scheme.
Tara has been extremely proactive in fundraising for the project and has already managed to raise a fantastic £2,800 with a final push in the form of a comedy night for the remaining £1000. The comedy night is at the Eagle Sports and Social Club in Penketh on Friday 27th March and features stand-up comedians, a disco and games.
