Record numbers at Cronton Sixth Form Open Evening

On Wednesday the 15th of October, Cronton Sixth Form hosted their most popular Open Evening yet with over 1500 visitors coming to view the College.

Potential students had the opportunity to look around the newly refurbished student areas, take part in interactive sessions and speak to tutors and current students about the vast array of courses offered at the College.
Mary Murphy, Principal said, “Our Open Evening was an overwhelming success. We had record numbers and the feedback from potential students and parents has been wonderful.”
One parent, Jo Walker, said: “My son thoroughly enjoyed the evening, as did my husband and I. The staff were fantastic, they spoke to our son rather than to us which impressed us immensely.
“They gave him all the information he was looking for to help him make some important decisions. We were all very impressed with every aspect of the College and the student ambassadors were superb.”
The College are now preparing for the next Open Evening on Tuesday 11th November, 5pm – 8pm.”
