Business Class to Paris!
Level 3 Business Studies students from Cronton Sixth Form College had the wonderful opportunity to attend an exciting and educational 3 day residential trip to Paris to mark the end of their course.
In what proved to be a hectic three days, all of the French capital’s main sights were visited such as the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and the famous Champs-Élysées Boulevard. The students also ascended the imposing Montparnasse Tower to take in stunning 360 degree city views, and enjoyed an evening cruise down the River Seine.
A visit to the world famous Stade de France proved to be both educational and enjoyable as students learned how France’s national stadium operates, generates income and markets itself.
A visit to the world’s largest museum, The Louvre, was culturally enriching as students got to see Leonardo da Vinci’s iconic ‘Mona Lisa’ painting.
The trip was rounded off with some free time for shopping and sampling the French cuisine in the city’s café culture hot-spots.
Business tutor Bryan Doyle commented, “This was a hugely successful trip that both staff and students enjoyed very much. It was great to be able to enjoy a few days away with our second year students after they have put in two years of hard work. Some of our students had not left the UK before and it was incredibly rewarding to see their horizons broadened as they experienced a different culture as well as learning about business in a non-UK setting.”
