Cronton Sixth Form Welcomes Bishop of Huddersfield
Cronton Sixth Form College was delighted to welcome The Right Reverend Jonathan Gibbs, Bishop of Huddersfield, to speak with A Level Philosophy and Religion students and provide an opportunity for the students to ask questions.
Bishop Jonathan Gibbs grew up in Cheshire and was consecrated as Bishop of Huddersfield in York Minster in October 2014. He joined the College to discuss his pathway to becoming Bishop of Huddersfield and also gave the students the opportunity to ask questions about religion and philosophy during a Q&A session.
Luke MacMahon, Philosophy and Religion Tutor at Cronton, said, “It was wonderful to welcome The Right Reverend Jonathan Gibbs at College. Our students were able to ask some great questions about topics they are studying on their courses which will really benefit them.”
