Students on the HAP programme will access further individualised and specialist support to guide them through the application, exam and interview process for Oxbridge, prestigious universities and degrees.
Daniel Adams – Head of A Levels
Daniel is one of the leads on the High Achievers Programme, particularly supporting students with super-curricular schemes and those students who are wanting to apply for STEM-based subjects at Oxford or Cambridge. With his wealth of teaching experience alongside his degree from the University of Durham, Daniel supports our students to raise their ambitions and reach their potential.
Jane Flanagan
Jane is a teacher of A Level Biology and has been supporting students with their Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary applications as part of her 20 years of teaching. She worked for many years in cutting-edge industry as a Research and Development Scientist, gaining a unique breadth of skills to support our students, especially on completing complex research projects linked with the competitive fields of Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary.
Dr Luke MacMahon
Luke teaches History and Philosophy at the college as well as supporting those students from Humanities applying to Oxford and Cambridge. Luke has a master’s degree and Doctorate in Tudor History and studied at the Universities of Warwick, Kent, London and Bath. Additionally, he completed post-doctoral research at Oxford, where he also worked as an editorial advisor and contributor to the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography.
